What is The Koran Initiative?
The Koran and its derivative, Islam, are so much a part of the culture and life and economy of the Middle-East that an organization such as athousandyears has to take note and adapt to it. But an organization that might eventually mentor entrepeneurs from these areas, like athousandyears hopes to eventually do, has the challenge and opportunity to view the Koran as a precious resource for all mankind. Then to do what entrepeneurs do best: view this precious resource in novel ways that make it more valuable. . .and open to much more of mankind.
The result is this initiative. An ongoing project that has found unimagined treasure in an infinite resource. The first results appeared in a booklet, A Christian's Koran. Additional results can be expected to flow out of the ongoing creative enquiry of others. Causing many to see what can be built on the solid foundation of joining the Koran to the rest of God's Word. And, if God is willing--'in sha' Allah, achieve results that benefit everyone.
